Care Management Support Coordinator I (Remote - TX)

Location: Remote, Must live in Corpus Christi or San Antonio

Pay: $18/hr | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM CST

Overtime: Rare, but may be required occasionally

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Care Management Support Coordinator I to join our healthcare team remotely in Texas. This role is ideal for individuals with strong computer and typing skills who thrive in a fast-paced, administrative healthcare environment.

Candidates must type a minimum of 45 WPM and will be required to pass a typing and skills assessment as part of the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for members and providers regarding care plans and services.
• Perform outreach calls , schedule services, and guide members to health plan and community resources.
• Complete high-volume data entry , verify member eligibility, and maintain non-clinical records per regulatory standards.
• Upload/download spreadsheets , navigate multiple systems, and perform daily quality checks.
• Monitor email for urgent state complaints , escalate cases, and support compliance tracking and MCO transfers.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years relevant experience
• Minimum 45 WPM typing speed with assessment required
• Strong computer and Excel proficiency

Preferred:

• Knowledge of medical terminology or managed care
• Experience with Excel formulas, reporting, and healthcare environments
