Output Biosciences is currently in stealth, operated by a team of repeat founders and biotech veterans with multiple exits in AI and biology, and backed by top VCs including Y Combinator.
Our internships offer flexible commitment, with a minimum of 20 hours per week, ranging 12 to 24 weeks. We have various start dates available to accommodate your academic schedule. There may be opportunities for full-time employment upon successful completion of your PhD. You will analyze the biological reasoning capabilities of our AI models.
You will design, create and investigate biological tasks to evaluate our foundational model.
You will analyze and integrate large-scale biological datasets using cutting-edge computational techniques.
You will develop and optimize data processing pipelines to support our AI modeling efforts.
You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to integrate bioinformatics approaches into our AI platform.
You will contribute to the improvement of our biological data management systems.

Who We're Looking For
You have a degree in a biological field and strong programming skills in Python.
You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
You are eager to learn and can work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
You are passionate about using data science to unlock the secrets of biology.
You exhibit a proactive approach to problem-solving, thinking beyond the specific task, taking ownership of challenges, and pride in solving them.
