Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant to join our friendly dental team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist in providing excellent patient care and ensure efficient clinical operations. Experience in fabricating temporary crowns is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and seat patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures including restorations, crown and bridge, extractions, and root canals.
• Fabricate temporary crowns .
• Take, pour, and trim impressions.
• Take intraoral X-rays using digital radiography systems.
• Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions.
• Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and disinfection of operatories according to OSHA and CDC protocols.
• Manage dental materials and supplies inventory.
• Assist with charting in the dental software ([insert software name if needed]).
• Perform lab-related tasks such as pouring models, trimming, and polishing.
• Support front desk staff when needed (e.g., answering phones, scheduling).
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow all office protocols, including HIPAA and privacy compliance.
