About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Human Resources to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all HR functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning HR efforts with the institution's mission and strategic vision, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices, and fostering a positive, inclusive work culture. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership on staffing, recruiting, and retention strategies, as well as managing a range of HR activities including workforce planning, organizational design, employee and leadership development, performance management, and compensation. The Executive Director will also be involved in budget development, and departmental training, and will be the primary contact for HR-related issues. Candidates for the Executive Director of Human Resources position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field, with a preference for an MBA or Master's degree. A SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' of HR managerial experience, with a proven track record of progressive responsibility in comparable institutions. Key responsibilities include establishing and implementing HR efforts that support the organization's mission, maintaining knowledge of HR trends and regulations, and developing and executing best practices for talent management. The role requires the ability to handle complex HR issues, oversee disciplinary actions, and lead professional development activities for HR staff.
