Position Summary

The Industrial Sales & Service Representative is responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships within the industrial fastener and pneumatic tool market. This includes servicing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical support and product expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Relations

• Establish and maintain relationships with pallet manufacturers, wood reel manufacturers, container manufacturers, and other industrial clients.
• Schedule and conduct regular customer visit and calls to assess needs and promote products.
• Maintain a balance between plant capabilities and customer requirements.

Service & Technical Support

• Install and service pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic tools used for driving or installing fasteners.
• Train customer personnel on proper tool usage and maintenance.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain organized and timely activity reports.

Market Development

• Prospect for new business opportunities in the industrial tool and fastener market.
• Stay informed on industry trends and communicate relevant updates to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams including sales, service, engineering, and corporate management to ensure optimal customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in outside industrial sales.
• Mechanically proficient and comfortable with hand tools.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes involving fasteners and pneumatic tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred. Salesforce / SAP experience is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a dedicated work ethic.
• Ability to travel overnight and work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in company training and drug testing.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
