Who we are looking for / Requirements: Our client is seeking a Network Engineer who can implement equipment installation plans based on the Network Administrator's specifications, maintain each component of the network and troubleshoot issues. The Network Engineer will be responsible for monitoring the network firewall, assessing the functionality of the network routers, ensuring all Internet security software is updated regularly, developing and implementing company email policies in accordance with the IT Manager and maintaining the company phone system. Key components we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field. Solid understanding of networking and/or voice communication fundamentals Ability to manage and configure network, voice, or security equipment Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues Possesses or is working toward entry-level certifications (e.g., Network+ or CompTIA VoIP) Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing: Sustain the necessary data throughput rate by monitoring network activity and maintaining existing equipment. Maintain the company phone system and coordinate with the phone service provider to ensure consistent service. Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and wireless communication issues within the office. Update the network maintenance manual regularly and submit a weekly summary of changes to management. Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure continuous network operations.
