Job Description

The machine operator is responsible for the day-to-day duties in running equipment to produce quality product, safely and on-time. The working schedule will be 12-hour rotating shifts from 5:00pm – 5:00am with every other weekend scheduled. Operators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards including visual and mechanical inspection of product, as well as work in a safe manner at all times following all safety policies and procedures. Performing setups in accordance with established procedure, operating, and loading/unloading equipment. Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures and work orders are also required. Additional responsibilities include: Maintaining and logging all information required supporting traceability and quality, participating in cross-training activities, maintaining work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition, and performing other duties as required or directed. Qualifications include mechanical ability or previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment, ability to troubleshoot, High School Diploma or GED, ability to pass background check and drug test including medical marijuana, physical ability to stand, walk, push/pull, bend, squat, climb, reach, lift, twist, grasp, manipulate, multitask and troubleshoot.
