The Project Manager maintains the scope, schedule, and quality of the project assigned. This person will provide supervision and oversight to coordinate the various activities of the project staff, ensuring that project milestones are met, key decisions are made in a timely manner and an overall successful implementation is executed. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, possesses previous project management experience and has a track record of demonstrated leadership ability. Education requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field, or Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or Associate's degree with 10 years of experience in project management. PMP certification is preferred. Experience includes 10 years of project management experience preferred, 5 years of Epic implementation experience preferred, at least three years of clinical informatics or healthcare IT experience preferred, and prior project management experience and experience in a leadership role required.
