The Johns Hopkins Hospital Outpatient OR Nurse will scrub and circulate in a variety of outpatient surgical cases. General surgery, breast cancer, plastics, urology, gyne oncology and more. New graduate registered nurses will be part of a 6 month comprehensive orientation to learn the variety of surgical services.

Shifts: Day Shift, 40 hours per week; no nights or weekends

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree from Accelerated Nursing Program required. BSN/MSN matriculation required within 1 year and completion of degree within 5 years of hire.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
• BLS CPR certification through AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training required
• Acute Care RN work required

***Nurses hired with an Associate’s degree in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of your start date.

Salary Range: Minimum 38.49 per hour - Maximum 59.66 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
