Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Bixby, OK is seeking a dedicated Counselor for the uping school year to provide essential support services to students. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment, collaborating with staff to promote student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students across grades K-12
• Develop and implement intervention plans addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student development
• Conduct assessments and maintain detailed documentation of counseling sessions and student progress
• Facilitate crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed
• Promote a positive and inclusive school environment through counseling programs and workshops

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Valid state counseling certification or licensure for K-12 school counseling
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
• Strong munication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
