Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic K-12 educational environment in Bishop, CA, is seeking dedicated counselors to support students' emotional and educational needs for the duration of the school year. This contract position requires professionals who are passionate about fostering a positive and proactive school atmosphere through effective counseling strategies.

Qualifications:

• Valid state certification or licensure in school counseling
• Proven experience working with K-12 students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and parents
• Knowledge of assessment tools and counseling techniques

Location:
Bishop, CA

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing a range of emotional and academic issues
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective support plans
• Conduct assessments and provide insights regarding students needs and progress
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on topics related to student well-being
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
