Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting full-time opportunity is available for a dedicated professional in an elementary school setting. This role focuses on providing essential guidance and support to students, fostering their academic, emotional, and social development. The position is designed for the upcoming school year, catering to a diverse K-5th grade caseload.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized guidance plans for students.
• Provide counseling to approximately 50 students, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to promote a positive school environment.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to track student progress and development.
• Organize and facilitate workshops and group sessions on relevant topics.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in School Counseling or related field.
• Current state licensure or certification in school counseling.
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children, particularly K-5th grade.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in using counseling techniques and tools for assessment.
