Luxury Pool Start-Up Technician Ensuring Excellence in Every Pool

Position: Luxury Pool Start-Up Technician Location: Charleston, SC (Local Candidates Only) Compensation: Competitive Hourly Rate: $20 - $25/hr

Schedule: Monday Friday, 7 AM 5 PM

Aqua Blue Pools is seeking a dedicated Start-Up Technician to ensure our pools operate flawlessly, are chemically balanced, and provide homeowners with a superior outdoor experience.

Role Overview: As our Luxury Pool Start-Up Technician, you'll be responsible for completing the final phase of pool construction. You'll ensure all equipment is correctly configured, chemicals are balanced precisely, and customers are thoroughly educated about their new investment. This critical role guarantees the quality of our pools and customer satisfaction from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation & Troubleshooting

  • Configure, calibrate, and program pool automation systems, heaters, pumps, and controllers.
  • Ensure equipment functionality, troubleshooting and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Water Chemistry & Cleaning

  • Manage detailed water chemistry analysis and adjustments.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning tasks including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and filter maintenance.
  • Document and report any pool surface issues accurately.

Customer Training & Education

  • Provide comprehensive orientations for homeowners on system operations and maintenance.
  • Educate clients clearly on automation systems, heating, lighting, and maintenance schedules.

Customer Service & Communication

  • Serve as a professional representative, addressing client questions and concerns thoroughly and effectively.
  • Ensure a smooth hand-off, leaving customers feeling confident and satisfied.

Vehicle & Inventory Management

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked company vehicle.
  • Perform daily inventory checks, promptly reporting any supply or maintenance requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Record detailed equipment settings, conditions, and documentation via company software.
  • Complete daily task checklists accurately and thoroughly.

Continuous Learning & Development

  • Stay current with industry advancements through regular training and knowledge sharing.
