**Job Title - Sr. Data Scientist** + **Job Summary:**We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Scientist to lead our data science initiatives, specifically focusing on developing and implementing **Price Elasticity** , Promotional Effectiveness, and Decomposition Models. This role will play a critical part in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing pricing strategies to enhance business performance.**Key Responsibilities:**- Lead the development and implementation of advanced statistical models to analyze price elasticity, promotional effectiveness, and sales decomposition.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and product management, to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.- Design and conduct experiments to test pricing and promotional strategies, and analyze the results to provide actionable insights.- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support model development and deployment.- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.- Communicate complex analytical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques.**Qualifications:**- Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.- Proven experience in developing and implementing price elasticity, promotional effectiveness, and decomposition models.- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.- Expertise in machine learning techniques, statistical modeling, and data analysis.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.- Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms Azure is a plus.**Preferred Skills:**- Experience in the retail or consumer goods industry.- Familiarity with data visualization tools Power BI or any other UI tool for Scenario building- Knowledge of A/B testing and experimental design **LI-PT1** **Salary and Other Compensation:** Applications will be accepted until Jan 3rd 2025.
