Job Description

The Training Coordinator at Unified Defense will organize and track training across departments, from welders to quality techs to forklift operators. You won’t be the one doing the hands-on training — but you’ll be the one making sure it happens smoothly and effectively. 

You’ll work closely with internal trainers, shop leads, HR, and department supervisors to support new hire onboarding, upskilling, and development planning. If you enjoy being part of something bigger than a desk job — and helping people grow — we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do:  

• Coordinate and schedule technical training for all departments 
• Support internal trainers and make sure employees are assigned properly 
• Track skill development, training completion, and certifications 
• Help onboard new hires and ensure they’re ready to succeed 
• Maintain training records and documentation 
• Support employee development and career path planning 
• Partner with HR on onboarding logistics and compliance tracking 

Who You Are:  

• Experience in training, administrative manufacturing or warehousing environments 
• Solid communication and organizational skills 
• Proficient with tools like Excel, Word, digital forms, or spreadsheets 
• Comfortable working in the office and on the shop floor as needed — this is not just a desk job 
• Ability to track, organize, and improve workforce training programs 
• Bonus: Familiarity with welding, logistics, or production processes
