**Job Title: Packager** **Job Description** As a Picker/Packager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of orders for delivery or pickup. Your responsibilities will include picking ordered items from the warehouse and delivering them to the necessary departments for product modifications and order fulfillment. This position involves working with computer systems to manage work orders and maintain high quality standards during audits. Our manufacturing facility specializes in diamond blades and core bits primarily for construction, stone, and mining industries, cutting and grinding a variety of surfaces including brick, mortar, concrete, granite, engineered stone, tile, and glass. 1st shift: 7:30am - 4pm **Responsibilities** + Utilize computer systems heavily for managing work orders. + Read, understand, and perform duties based on training and follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and job orders. + Inspect materials before packing to ensure quality. + Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, including loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping. + Receive and process warehouse stock products, including picking, unloading, labeling, and storing. + Perform inventory controls and maintain high quality standards for audits. + Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization. + Complete diary logs into inventory systems. + Report any discrepancies found during inspections. **Essential Skills** + Basic knowledge of working in fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environments. + Basic math skills. + Basic computer skills; experience using Windows applications. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. + Fluency in English for reading instructions and communicating effectively. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written. **Why Work Here** Our company offers an opportunity for hire after an evaluation period if performance is satisfactory. The facility operates large equipment and machinery, such as production machines and forklifts, and is subject to heat, cold, noise, dust, and other particles. Physical demands include frequently lifting up to 35 lbs, standing or sitting for extended periods, and repetitive bending, reaching, and climbing. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
