Job Description

Knowledge | Experience | Skills: Two-year degree or two years’ experience with Graphical Design. Experience in plastic injection mold design preferred. Mechanical aptitude. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design of tooling including new builds and repair work.
• Responsible for participating in all Engineering department activities.
• Assists in specifying engineering parameters for new or repair tooling.
• Helps to troubleshoot problems associated with tooling.
• Leads design activities to achieve optimum results.
• Supports operation requirements with problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Interacts and communicates with Engineering and Operational personnel to achieve business goals.
• Provides design support for maintenance and improvement of tooling.
• Assists with new product startups as needed.
• Assists engineering with CAD design work as needed.
• Other tasks as needed
